From the time he was boy, Errol Gilifilian loved making things out of wood. He’d see a piece of wood and think about what the wood was trying to tell him it wanted to be. So, for many decades, Errol has been finding wood and carving it into different types of animals, things and people, allowing the wood to express itself through art.

Errol is blessed because he gets to sit close to the beach and make things. He gets to meet new people, especially the little ones, who never cease to amaze as they study Errol’s work and wonder how each piece of wood could be so still and yet so alive.
